| Who is it suitable for? |
| Due to the nature of climbing, we have to make sure that juniors are
safe at all times. For those children over 14 years who have been climbing
for some time and wish to use the Leeds Wall without
instructor supervision we have a Junior Assessment, which assesses their
competence and makes sure that they are safe.

| What does the Junior Assessment Consist of? |
The junior has to climb with an instructor for approx. one hour and has
to demonstrate that they can do the following:-

Put on a harness correctly |

Tie on using a figure of eight knot |
|

Leading with quickdraws in place |

| Yourself and another person who can lead
and lead belay, they may also be assessed at the same time.

| No restrictions apply.

| £25 for 1, £30 for 2 (2 people must
attend to be able to demonstrate leading and lead belaying)

Please note payment is required at the time of booking. Each child attending a session must have a consent form
completed by either parent or legal guardian before
