Reception staff - Full and Part Time Hours available. Must be a climber, First Aid Certificate preferable but not essential as training can be given to the right candidates.  Please ask at reception for a job description and application.

Part Time Duty Manager - We have a vacancy for a Part time Duty Manager to work weekends and evenings.  Main responsibilities include:

- health and safety of staff, customers and visitors;
- ensure that the centre is a safe, clean and an enjoyable place for customers and staff;
- ensure that regular patrols of the climbing centre, shop, toilets and cafe are carried out;
- opening up the centre;
- closing up the centre;
- ensure that the various areas are cashed up, and the takings secured;
- produce a Duty Manager's Report, passing information on the the next shift;
- carry out any other reasonable task, requested by the General Manager or Assistant Manager, in line with the nature of the business;
- take bookings when appropriate;
- deal with customers comments, suggestions and complaints at first instance;
- ensure that the General Manager of the Senior on Call is informed immediately of any serious situation, particularly Accidents of Near Misses.

Performance measuread by:

- health and safety of staff, customer and visitors;
- customer feedback;
- cleanliness and general appearance of the Centre;
- effectiveness and efficiency of reception.
